Python

Python is a programming language that is popular in the data sciences and visualisation space. The Python language is used to interact with some of the other components of the Data Arena (e.g., Omegalib), or may be embedded as a scripting language inside other applications (e.g., Houdini). The Data Arena presently makes use of the Python 2.x series of releases.
