Drishti
Drishti is a volumetric data exploration and presentation tool, which is able to create 3D textured models from volumetric image slices.
“Drishti has been developed keeping in mind the end-user : visualizing tomography data, electron-microscopy data, etc. Understanding the data set is important and conveying that understanding to the research community or a lay person is equally important. Drishti is aiming for both. The central idea about Drishti is that the scientists should be able to use it for exploring volumetric datasets as well as use it in presentations.”
You can download the program from GitHub and create your own models from volumetric data sets.
Learning Drishti
Training material is available in the form of PDF tutorials and an official YouTube channel:
Additional video tutorials are available on the official Drishti website.
How to display your project in the Data Arena?
The Data Arena is able to open Drishti project files and interact with the visualisations they contain. It is possible to download your project from the web, or load your files into the DA from an external drive or USB stick.
